When is the campsite open?
The campsite is always open a week before Easter and closes on 31 October. We are closed in the winter.
How can I book?
You can do this online via the link at the top " book direct".
Do I need to make reservations in the early and late season?
As more people travel every year, it is always advisable to book in advance. We cannot guarantee that there will be room if you arrive spontaneously.
How do I know if my booking was successful?
Once you have made a booking request, you will receive an "option". This is NOT a confirmation, but an indication that we have received your request. Once we have approved the booking, you will receive a confirmation.
How old do I have to be to enter the campsite?
All ages are allowed, but children under 18 must be accompanied by at least 1 Adult. The adult must stay with the minor/s during the stay.
I am travelling with another family. How can I book multiple places?
Option A: Each family makes a booking and indicates in the “commentary” box, that they want to be pitched next to the family "xyz".
Option B: One family makes a booking and indicates in the “commentary” box that they are travelling with two motorhomes, caravans, etc and therefore need two (or more) pitches.
What happens if I have booked and cannot come due to circumstances?
You can cancel by e-mail up to 24 hours in advance. We charge a 5€ transaction fee for a refund and only refund if there is a sufficient reason why you cannot come.
At what time can I get to my pitch?
Check-in is possible from 11 am. That is the earliest you can access your pitch. This also applies to the tent site and wine barrels. Vehicles cannot enter the site after 10 pm. Only checked-in people can enter the grounds on foot from 10 pm onwards.
What are the departure times?
You can leave from 7 a.m. and must be off by 11 a.m. at the latest.
Is it possible to stay attached as a car and caravan?
No, unfortunately this is not possible on our campsite.
Can I park my car on the pitch?
Yes, the car can be parked on the pitch by the tent as well as by the caravan. Near the wine barrels there is a parking space for 1 car next to each barrel.
Are there pitches for the whole season?
No, we are a tourist campsite and do not offer long-term pitches.
I have an ACSI CC, CAMPING KEY, etc Card. Do I get a discount with it?
No, we do not give discounts. We are an inspected campsite, so ACSI ID (for example) does count as ID. Prices are the same in low and high season.
Can we stay at your campsite without our own vehicle or tent?
This is only possible in the wine barrels (2 Adults, 2 Children, maximum 4 nights, dogs not allowed here). We do not have motorhomes, caravans, tents or bungalows to rent.
Can I charge my electric car on the campsite?
We do not have charging points on the campsite. It is therefore forbidden to charge your car on the campsite.
Are dogs allowed on the campsite?
Dogs are only allowed on a leash (including on your pitch). They are not allowed in the shop, restaurant (terrace is ok) and wine barrels. They must not disturb other guests.
How many amps do the pitches have?
The Camping pitches have 16amp and the tentfield has 10amp.
What is present in the wine barrel?
There are two mattresses (twice 90x200cm) in the wine barrel. You need to bring everything yourself unless you book it as an option.
May I receive visitors?
Yes, visitors are allowed from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and may come at no extra charge. If a guest stays overnight at your place, you are obliged to notify us and lodging fees must be paid. Visitors can park outside the site in the surrounding public car parks.
Is there WIFI on the campsite?
Yes, the Wifi is free and available on the entire campsite.
Can we drink the water on the campsite?
The water from all taps on the campsite is drinking water and of very good quality.
Are there washing machines and tumble dryers at the campsite?
Yes, you can wash and dry in all sanitary buildings for a fee (4€ per turn).
Do I have to pay to use the showers?
The use of showers is included. The camper service is also included.
Can we barbecue at the campsite?
Yes, barbecuing is allowed (ONLY FOR GUESTS OF THE CAMPING), in a real barbecue, no open fire on the ground, and always with a bucket of water next to it.
What are the restaurant opening hours?
The restaurant is open from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 4pm to 10pm (the kitchen until 9pm). The restaurant is also open on public holidays and only closed on Mondays.
Do I need to make a reservation for the restaurant?
Reservations are recommended. You can do this in the restaurant itself, from 4 pm on the day of arrival.
Is there a bread service?
Yes, you can order bread rolls every day for the following morning.
How do I get to the centre of Luxembourg city?
There is a bus stop within walking distance of the campsite. During the week, a bus goes to the centre and back every 10 minutes (every 15' on Saturdays and every 30' on Sundays). The last bus runs from the centre back to the Campsite every day at 11.45pm. Dogs are also allowed and do not have to be muzzled. Public transport is free throughout the country.
